I have been battling hypertension since I was 19 years old. I am now 47. I was always either underweight or normal weight. I eat right (low fat/low sodium/high potassium diet), I exercise regularly. I meditate and do yoga. I have a very low threshold for side effects so every medication I've been on causes problems, often to the point that I can't exercise, the one thing that I know helps the most. I take meds anyway, choosing two that have the most tolerable side-effects. Still my BP is not controlled.
Here's the really weird thing: the only time I've ever NOT had hypertension were the two times I've been pregnant. Normal the entire pregnancy. Went up again after I delivered. I was thrilled to find this treatment. I've been using my new gizmo every day since I received it almost a week ago. But so far I'm still getting horrible readings (152/109). This is the reading I got today immediately after I completed the treatment. What should I be expecting? That one day my BP will be normal? Or should it get lower and lower over time? Since I've started my readings have risen rather than dropped. I can't help but feel discouraged. Julie |

Hi Julie,
It has worked for me. I started seeing improvement in about a month but took 2 months to settle out. Been using it for over 3 years. First of this year I ordered the new model. It's a giant improvement over the older model. I used it daily for 2 months then cut back to every other day. I've been using the new model 53 continues days but after 2 months plan to cut back to 10 minutes daily. Over all, it lowered my Systolic about 20 points. Never had a problem with the lower side. Good luck! |
