Hey folks. I think I would REALLY dig this Resperate device. It to me is almost like a guided mindfulness meditation. Only problem is, one day (like Wednesday) it worked FINE! The today, AGAIN, the INHALES were up to 6-7 seconds and the exhales were at 4-5!!! Why is this happening? For the price we pay, the thing really should work ALL THE TIME and not a hit and miss.
Any ideas?

Why don't you give us a call to speak to a product specialist who will go over your stats and ask you a few userbility questions. Sometimes when I see this happen, it's due to improper sensor placement, but I don't want to make that call without knowing the facts. Whatever the issue is here, we will take care of it! I've been using it for the last few weeks, usually two 15 minutes periods a day with a few minutes between sessions. I come away completely relaxed and I have no doubt this is doing exactly what is expected.

If I could offer a suggestion, it would be to not concentrate on the process. Seriously, if you are so focused that you can count seconds during inhale or exhale, I think you're working too hard at it. Go with the flow and a rhythm will come.

True...that's the next step! haha. Usually the first few sessions are about becoming familiar and understanding the RESPeRATE. The next step is to relax and let it do what it's supposed to do. (IMG:http://forum.resperate.com/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
