I've been using the resperate machine for about a year and a half now.
I've noticed that after I use it I have a hard time breating normal for a while? I usually get down to 3.7 BPM. It seems my yawn reflex is in hyper-drive? This is strange? Is it possible that I'm not getting enough oxygen and boddy is trying to compensate? |

Dear FRYECA,
The yawning is a natural reflex. It's possible that you are not getting enough oxygen! This feeling can be compared to blowing air into a balloon. You need to pace yourself and remember it's not a competition to see how low you can go. It's more important to remain at a comfortable rate, usually between 6-8 BPM. Breathe Easy! I wasn't aware of that...when I use the resperate I just let it take me down as low as it wants to take me. |

Dear Fryeca,
As intelligent as the RESPeRATE is, it's not human. If it "senses" you are keeping up with the musical tones (even if it is forced) then it will try to bring you down even lower! Know what is comfortable for you. As I mentioned before, MOST people are comfortable between 6-8 BPM. You do not have to get down super low to acheive results, COMFORT is key! Breathe Easy!
