Hi - I have been using Resperate for a few months now and have seen a drop in my BP. However, the last couple of times I used it I experienced something odd. After I entered the therapeutic breathing zone, the breathing rate on the screen seemed to drop suddenly - e.g. I went from 9.3 to 6.9, and then kept dropping to 5.5.
I don't think I was breathing at that rate and I couldn't keep up with the guiding tones. I ignored them and tried breathing normally, but the machine didn't seem to reset the way I thought it would. It stayed at the lower level even though there was no way I was breathing at that rate. I'm concerned that the resulting readings are not accurate. Any suggestions as to what is wrong? Many thanks. |

Rosie,
Usually when you open your eyes to look at the screen, your breathing pattern changes automatically. It's hard to say what the issue at hand is here. You may want to call our Customer Care dept to go over your stats & to review your past sessions. Call Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm EST. Breathe Easy!
