I hope that someone can help me evaluate the statistics that one gets after each use? For example, is breath detection more important than synchronization? Does it matter if during one session sychronization is in the 80's and in another it is in the 90's? How important is it if during one session the BPM is 6..... and in another 4.....? If these rates vary, does one get the same benefit or is it more important to keep the levels consistent? If so, how does one do that? Generally speaking, anything about 70% is an acceptable range. Stat #6, Breath Detection, has a lot to do with sensor placement. If your sensor isn't placed in the proper location, then the sensor may not be picking up your breathing pattern accuratly, which means it's going to give you musical tones that may not feel comfortable to you. So, I guess in a sense, Breath Detection has priority over Synchronization. For a more complete evaluation, I actually recommend that you call in & review your stats with one of our Customer Care Reps. That would be a good time to also ask any other questions you may have. The CCR may also offer you some tips that you never would have even thought about!

Thanks, Marguerite. My stats are usually in the 90% range for both Breath Detection and sychronization. I guess that means that I'm doing something right. I still am not comfortable with just SITTING. I feel like I can/should be doing SOMETHING. Thanks for your help.

Uh oh...I hope you're not doing anything else! If a 15 minute session feels too long, then you might want to consider using it at a different time of the day when you are not as "alert". Also, just how comfortable is your seat? I suggest a comfy chair or couch with a slight recline. If your chair does not recline, try placing a pillow at your lower back. Another thing to keep in mind is just because your stats are great doesn't mean your getting the most out of your sessions, especially if you can not relax!

I had no idea! I figured if I was getting good statistics then I was doing it right. My pressure has come down significantly AND I notice that it "spikes" on the days I don't use the machine. So I'm using it every day. I do sit comfortably, and I "breathe" at the end of the day when I'm pretty spent, but I'm very used to multi-tasking and find it hard to just "sit". Practice and time will help, I'm sure.
Thanks for your imput. I appreciate the great feedback. I have recommended this machine and the website to many. I'm very pleased with the results. |
