I've been having pretty good success so far with the machine. My bp comes down incredibly at first and then does rise again. But it's only been a couple weeks so I"m very positive! I do have a question, though, of anyone with a similar situation....I'm finding that it's relaxing me so much that I'm tending to doze off during the session. It doesn't matter what time of day I use it, it's still having this affect on me. I'm unsure if I'm getting the full affect possible if falling asleep. It seems to be only for a minute or so at a time...not for the full session. Does anyone have this experience and, if so, any suggestions on how not to?

Margy,
I'm wondering how you're doing at this time? Based on the date, you should see the sustaining results at this point. As far as the dozing off, that's one of the "side-effects" of RESPeRATE. My suggestion is to either change the duration of the session to the minimum, of 10 mins. (this is done after the recognition phase. Press the clock button and then the down arrow to shorten the duration) Marguerite (IMG:http://forum.resperate.com/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) |
