I've used resperate for two months now doing it every day for 15 minutes. I'm not sure how much my BP has dropped if any, but my blood sugar (glucose) has dropped. I'm Type II diabetic and I think the relaxation from the device is why the glucose is lower. I take medication for BP and glucose and am still checking to see any drop in the BP from the device.

VERY VERY interesting! We did just complete a study on the effects of Resperate with people who are hypertensive and have diabetes. I will pass your post along to our clinical dept to see what they think!
Keep us posted! Marguerite (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) |

Hi Gerry,
Thanks for sharing your observations with us. There is some evidence in the scientific literature of glucose being reduced as a result of relaxation. Were you checking your glucose at home? And was it a fasting glucost or after eating. If it was after eating, how long after eating did you check your glucose? Generally the studies have found the reduction in glucose when testing is done after eating rather than in a fasting state. Regards, Judy Manager, Scientific Affairs |
