Is there anyway that I can record one of my Resperate sessions to MP3 (or some other format)? The reason why I ask is because when I go on a long hiking trip, I can't afford to take the bulky/heavy Resperate with me. If I could have a recorded session and listen to it with a small MP3 player, this possbily could help me.

Well, I guess I can answer my own question. I used an audio editor program for my PC. I bought a headphone Y-adapter (which has two female ends and one male end). The male end of the Y-adapter was connected to the Resperate, the headphone was connected to one of the Y-adapter ends, and the other Y-adapter end was connected to the computer with an audio cable. I started the Resperate and started recording. When I completed my session, I stop the recording and saved it as an MP3. Now I have a recorded Resperate session.

I realize the recorded session won't work as well since it is not interactive, but I hope that it will help at least a little when I don't have the Resperate for extended time periods.

JBC,
I would definitly not recommend this to anyone else. I am glad that you realize that it's not going to be an interactive session, which pretty much is the main key to RESPeRATE. My guess is that having a portable version of the RESPeRATE would be a better solution.

Yes in our age of miniaturization a really tiny version of this be useful thing. I might even be willing to pay more. I found that the unit is just too large, and difficult to pack. The cords I know are suppose to tuck nicely into the thing, but they don't. ( Heck -- I'm male ... some of us males never could pack anything !) About the size of a lipstick would be good. And box that allows for safe and easy storage of the cords would be helpful. I had mentioned a wireless version might be an option too.

I tried taking it on one trip -- it was just a pain. It took up too much luggage space, and such a difficult pack and unpack each time. So, since then, I won't take it anywhere.

When I travel I like everything in one small travel bag .. preferably something I can take on-board.

Yes the wires do get in the way and if you wind them too tightly, you risk damaging them. I actually like your post & have forwarded your ideas to our R&D.
In regards to the wireless version, are you saying that you think the RESPeRATE should be the size of lipstick??? Wow, that's kinda small, but OK.
All points taken.
