RE: Model RR150
Problem with Sensor

The sensor has been erratic for the past three weeks. Upon starting, the 都ensor belt is too loose icon appears and the respiration data is not recognized; tightening the belt is ineffectual.
At first, this was intermittent. Recently, it occurs every time the machine is turned on. The only way that I can get the machine to work ( and to have the icon disappear) is to position the sensor on its side and hold it there for the session. If the sensor is in its normal position, the icon remains on and tightening the belt has no effect. Occasionally, holding the sensor on its side will result in a successful fifteen minute session. No change has been made in the chair that I use or clothing. The weather makes no difference. I have used Resperate for the past three years. Is this a common problem with this earlier model? Has it been corrected in newer models.

If you've had the unit for several years and have been using it frequently, then it's possible the wire within the blue sensor has become loose. This could be a possibility, however, I am not sure. I would suggest that you call into our Customer Care Dept and speak with a rep who will troubleshoot and direct you to the next step.
