I've been using Resperate for two weeks now and have only just checked my BP which worryingly has increased quite a bit! Obviously this isn't the result I was expecting. I am very worried about this and would appreciate any advice as to why this has happened and how can I get it back to normal. My original BP was 147/90 which I know was too high but it has now raised to 168/100 and even higher! I did check it three times today and there wasn't much difference in any of the readings. Some advice would be very much appreciated as I don't want to give up on it. I would rather give up on my medication which is very debilitating and it would be great to eventually get off it.

I have used my machine for 3 days now. The first day my BP was a nice 122/77 after the session. But the 2 following days I have seen my BP go up to 142/92. I don't think I am forcing anything. I called customer service and they felt I should continue doing the sessions and justbreathing easy. But I am worried because I see my MD soon and if I can't get the numbers down to somewhere near normal he will want to increase my Lisinopril to even more than the 20mg. I take now. Any ideas or suggestions ?

Your doctor may want to increase your medication but it is your decision whether to follow his suggestion or not. I'm not saying what is right for you but just want to remind you that you are in control of your medical decisions.:-)

I would advise continue using Resperate and don't get worked up over the fact that your blood pressure is up - that will only make it worse. Keep using it and relax as much as possible. I had the same problems to begin with but I persevered and now after 4 months by blood pressure is down from 150/94 to anything between 120/80 and 127/84 and I am absolutely delighted. So please don't give up.
