I have tried muting the voice over, but when I do so, the default display changes from that displaying the "clock circle" to that of a figure breathing in and out. I can change the view back to that of the "clock circle" by pressing "i", but after a few seconds, the display reverts to the breathing figure.

How can I mute the voice over and keep the "clock circle" as the default view displayed?

When you select the mute button it blocks the clock from the screen at the moment, however, as long as you are in the therapeutic zone (10 bpm or lower) then the clock will reappear. That clock keeps track of your therapeutic minutes.
