I have used Respirate almost daily since February 2009. In the past week I noticed that the prompter's voice had disappeared from the recording. I used it this way for about 4/5 days and then considered that this might indicate a need to change batteries.
After changing the batteries, I turned the machine on, heard the usual "breath normally" prompt and turned it off again, thinking that it was back on track. However, when I used it the next time and in the days since, the voice is still missing.
Would be glad for your thoughts, suggestions.
Thank you!

Do you have the standard model or the Ultra? In either case, each has a mute button. On the standard it is located on the left hand side and with the Ultra it is the menu button which can be accessed only during a session. Often times, especially with the Ultra, when someone is scrolling through they inadvertently mute the voice.
Please send an e-mail to SUPPORT@RESPERATE.COM with your serial number so we can further assist you.

Personally, I prefer to use it without the voice prompt.
