I seem to be having a kickback reaction to using the Respirate....blood pressure drops several points and within 30 minutes shoots up higher than before. Will this go away?

Hi grampeg,
I'm wondering how long you have been using RESPeRATE... in the first few weeks, reductions in blood pressure will be temporary. With continuing regular use, the reduction will be maintained - generally within 3-4 weeks. I'm glad to hear that you are seeing a lowering effect right after your session with RESPeRATE. This generally reflects that you are using it well -- breathing comfortably without effort. We would expect your BP to go back up to your normal range after a breif lowering after the session -- until the 3-4 week mark when it should become more regular. Also, remember that blood pressure normally fluctuates throughout the day, so in order to compare results day-to-day, it's best to check your BP at the same times each day. We generally recommend checking it in the morning. If you have any additional concerns and would like to review your stats with a Customer Care Representative, please call 1-877-988-9388 9am-6pm EST. All the best, Judy (Scientific Affairs) |
