I am 58 and have semi annual consultations with a renowned doctor who practices anti ageing medicine.

I feel great but was concerned that my blood pressure has been about 165/95 recently. The doctor advised me to drink two litres of water each day. He explained that most people donエt consume enough water and their dehydrated state is the major reason or even sole reason for their elevated blood pressure. Since following the instructions, my blood pressure has fallen to about 130/80.

I am very surprised that Resperate do not include this, the most effective of all "Tips", in your list.

I want to give you an update. Since my last post I drank a 1 quart bottle of water. About a half hour ago my bp was still high so I hooked myself up to the resperate and after my bp was 132/82. That's quite a machine but I have to follow the rules concerning my overall health suchs as proper diet and plenty of water as well.

How true that it is NOT just water consumption that counts but proper diet and gentle exercise that counts. I follow the DASH diet as far as I can and am reducing my weight by 1-2 lb a week. I couple this by using my Resperate machine every day. I find walking the best exercise and I have a period of meditation before I use my Resperate .My blood pressure has gone from 178/98 to 135/75 in 2 weeks and I am on course to lower it further.
