Resperate appears to be trying to get me to do a number of things. Breathe slowly, have the exhalation longer than the inhalation and take deep breaths. Which is the most important? If I am driving in my car or am calm somewhere else should I practice any or all of these when I am not using Resperate?

Howard,
The RESPeRATE experience is a combination of a few things. The most obvious is the breathing technique, which is a shorter inhalation, followed by a prolonged exhalation. This technique can be mimicked when you do not have your RESPeRATE and are feeling stressed out or even driving your car. Doing just this breathing on its own will not lower your blood pressure, but it will calm you! Breathe Easy! Marguerite (IMG:http://forum.resperate.com/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) |
