I wonder if anyone seen a study on the effect of flu's and colds on blood pressure. I've been tracking BP now for about 5 years, and everytime I get the cold or flu my blood pressure goes up. And I even with medication, during these times it can be hard to get it down to normal. As soon as the cold or flu is over, the blood pressure drops to normal. I'm now to the point that if I see a BP rise, I start worrying I'm coming down with something, take some vitamen C, try to get extra sleep and rest.
Wonder if any had similar experiences. |
