I developped a hypertention one yr ago after a car accident.
My doctor tried 5 different medications on me but the dehydration I suffered from them caused my other medical problems to flare up: The acid reflux became unbearable and my joint pain got much worse.
Resperate looks like god sent!
Did anyone had similar dehydration problems?

Hi Eva, I am on my second month of a substitute of Maxide and I am feeling the dehydration and reflux. It is almost as if you can not eat certain foods, especially solid foods. My doctor switch me to this after taking Norvasc, which nearly made me comatose! My BP dropped quickly but I was dropping also. Norvasc made me feel horrible. The Maxide substitute is also affect my breathing. I am experiencing difficulty breathing sometimes. I am going to notify my Doctor and see if she wants to switch me again. Thanks for sharing your experience!
