"The aims of the present study were to investigate whether there is sympathetic activation in COPD patients in the absence of hypoxia and whether slow breathing has an impact on sympathoexcitation and baroreflex sensitivity."

It appears that slow breathing may improve COPD condition, in which case resperate might be add to those that with this condition. I'll have to hunt to see if I can find more. Anybody with COPD out there that tried resperate or has article link ?
