We generally do not like to see a person go below the 5 BPM mark. Try breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth with your lips pursed. Keep in mind that the exhale is longer than the inhale, so it needs to be a controlled, fluent breath out....not forced or pushed out. Also, if you feel lightheaded or dizzy, it could be from breathing at too low of a rate. Most people are comfortable at 6-8BPM and may have better results than people that try to get lower, because there's less effort.
Above all, remember to Breathe Easy!
