My wife has had high bp and was on benicar for a while and now the Dr. has taken her off it .So, now she has gained 5lbs. in water and has had a decreased in kidney function and her enzymes are high in her liver.This is what her diagnosis is from her dr.5lbs. may not seem like alot ,but she is only 5'2 and 106 she is very fit and works out and run 5 times a week.She has also had a ultrasound of her organs and everything looks ok.She has other blood samples out for further testing ,but that could take two more weeks and she is very worried.Do you think this a issuie from stopping benicar?
Any thoughts would be helpful.
