I've had my Resperate for 3 days now. I'm flirting with high blood pressure--140/90 at the doctor's office, occasionally as high as 140/85 at home if I'm feeling stressed, but usually more like 120/75. After my very first session with this device, my blood pressure was 95/69--amazingly low!
Anyway, the point of this post is to ask about aching lungs. Since I started using Resperate, I've been experiencing a slight ache in my lungs, similar to the feeling you get if you exert yourself on a very cold day and breathe in a lot of cold air. It's not a horrible feeling, and I can live with it quite happily if it's simply my lungs getting accustomed to the deeper breathing, the same way my muscles ache when I workout. But if it's an indication that I'm using the device wrong, that's a different matter. Liz. |

Liz,
That's wonderful to hear! All too often people are ready to quit at anything that is good for them! Keep up the good job & keep us posted on your progress! Breathe Easy! Marguerite (IMG:http://forum.resperate.com/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) |
