I am a 53 yr-old male in relatively good health but my blood pressure has always been borderline high. I have been using the resperate machine for almost 3 years now, and it has definitely lowered my blood pressure. It used to be 135-145 over 85-90. Now is runs about 125/80 sometimes lower. The one problem I have noticed is that I don't have the energy I use to have, and I don't think it is age. I eat pretty well and I have been walking about 20 miles per week for a number of years now, even before I started the resperate. The resperate just relaxes me so much that I now just move slower and do things slower than I use to. I'm never in a hurry anymore. I guess this is a good thing, but I use to be able to get so much done in a day. Now my mind is just like in a slower state of being. Has anyone else noticed anything like this?

I'm 54, and can relate. I no longer can work until 2:00 AM in the morning, and get up a six and go to work. Perhaps it this little thing called aging... and I hope also a certain set of maturity. Somehow, things that seemed so important before seem less so, in the big schemes of things. As my dad says, In a hundred years from now will it make a difference ? If not, probably not all that important to the universe.
Great to hear from someone that being using resperate for a long time. Did you get your drop in blood pressure all at the start, or has it just kept coming down? |

Yep, the same here! Now I move and think in a more relaxed manner. At first I thought It was from age but after reading your post I guess it's from being more relaxed. I'm 55 years old and I believe I've been using resperate for over a year. Oh wait, I'll look at the date I became a member of this forum. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Ok, make that 8 months I've been using resperate. A wonderful machine and is great for everyone that needs to relax, not just those with high blood pressure.

I've been using Resperate over 3 years. When I first started using it I kept a spread sheet for about 2 months. Recording my blood pressure 3 different times a day. I could definite see around 15 to 20 points improvement!
Hey guys, when I was early 50 I was as good man as I'd ever been. Back then I jogged 3 miles every day. I began to slow down in my 60's. Now days I fast wall 3 miles a day. I'm now 74 years young. I don't take any blood pressure medication. Been on warfarin for 18 years due to mechanical aortic heart valve. |
